ADVENTURES IN EGYPT: OPENING DOORS TO THE PAST 

We have never seen before an expedition to Egypt quite like this. With no fewer than 16 special SCA permits, this promises to be the highlight of the travelling year for every participant. Details of how to book this extraordinary tour are shown below.

 

 

 

 

The Itinerary

There are two PDF copies than can be downloaded from this site. The first is a 'simple version' of the itinerary which you need to print in landscape format on your printer or, of course, you can just read it from the screen. This has the pages ordered sequentially. If you don't have the Adobe Reader software on your PC then it is very straightforward to get to by following this link www.adobe.com next, click on the Get Adobe Reader and follow the on-screen instructions from there.

 

The second copy of the booklet is the 'booklet version'. This also requires Adobe Reader but when you look at it you will see that it is designed to be printed, again on Landscape, but double sided and 'flipped along the short edge'. Once printed, if you have a long arm stapler, you can recreate the entire document as a booklet. Have fun with that!

 

BOTH booklets have been formatted to the US Paper Standard 'LETTER' rather than the European A4 size.

 

 

 

 

Registration

This tour is run by the UK archaeological tour specialist, Ancient World Tours. We are very used to travellers joining us from the USA and we really look forward to having you with us.

To make sure that everyone's booking is processed correctly and that we have all the details we need, please complete the registration form (top right of this screen) Once completed, save the form to your PC hard drive and then e-mail a copy to us using the arce@ancient.co.uk address. Please do not try to book this tour via the standard AWT online booking route as it is not listed.

We will then create an invoice for you and unique reference locator. This will then be used to make your booking, your deposit payment and your final payment. Once your deposit is made, you will then have entered into an agreement with our travel partner Bales Worldwide Ltd. Bales handle all the tours we run from a billing and flight booking point of view and payments are made though them.

 

So, step one is to fill in the registration form and mail it back to arce@ancient.co.uk 

 

Please note that the reference to Insurance in the terms and conditions applies to UK citizens only if originating their holidays in London. The standard deposit figure referenced in the Terms and Conditions is increased to £400 for this tour because of the cost of initial outlays, including the private ARCE air charter.
