ASTRONOMY WORLD TOURS - CHINA ECLIPSE TOUR C, SHANGHAI

This is the perfect eclipse trip for those with only a long weekend to spare for travel

Our itinerary is shown below. Included meals are indicated with BLD - Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

 

20th July 09 – To Beijing

Depart London Heathrow with China Airways to Beijing

 

21st July 09 – Shanghai

Arrive in Shanghai International airport. On arrival we take time to visit the Bund, the Yuyuan Garden and take a walk along the Bazaar. We check-in to the Four Points by Sheraton Shanghai for 3 nights. Lunch in local restaurant and dinner at leisure. (L)

 

22nd July 09 – Shanghai Eclipse

We take breakfast en route to Hangzhou Bay area to observe the total eclipse of the sun. Afternoon transfer back to Shanghai. Dinner in local restaurant. Overnight in Four Points by Sheraton Shanghai. (BD)

 

 

23rd July 09 – Shanghai

After breakfast at hotel we visit Shanghai Museum (with audio guide). Afternoon enjoy free time in Xintiandi - stylish restaurants, galleries, and shopping district in the old French Concession area. Lunch and dinner in local restaurants. Later we enjoy a Culture evening with a show by acrobats. Overnight in Four Points by Sheraton Shanghai. (BLD)

 

24th July 09 – Homeward bound

After breakfast we transfer to the airport for our departure flight arriving home later that same day. (B)
